After looking through the brief for Project 1, I began to brainstorm some possible locations that I would like to photograph for my "Space" project. The main idea that I seemed to want to show in my photo was feelings of darkness, such as sadness and loneleness. I realised that I would really like to bring this concept into my photos because its always been an area that I find more interesting to bring into photos unlike many others that try to capture spaces of happiness and joy.
The main areas I have been looking at using for my space are the Kelburn Hill (the hill that leads up to Kelburn Campus from Te Aro campus) the Kaori cemetery or Kelburn Campus. I have chosen these 3 areas as possible areas for my loction for Project 1 because I believe that they have an ability to display the deep emotional feelings of darkness that I want it too.
Below is a brainstorm on my locations and why I have thought of using these places for my project and how I will take the photos (whether it be day or evening).
